eResearch
eResearch refers to the application of Information Technology to research practice, projects and collaborations. The UTS eResearch Group works with UTS researchers to help them with aspects of their research that can be facilitated by information technology, freeing them to do the knowledge creation work that technology cannot.
UTS Library
The UTS Library is central to the unique UTS experience and is fundamental to a lifetime of learning in an open, ever-present and equitable way. UTS Library and UTS Reading Room are open to UTS students, staff, and researchers. They provide vital assistance through training and advice covering Literature, Data, Impact, Metrics, Publishing and Copyright.
UTS Tech Lab
UTS Tech Lab transforms the way universities partner with industry. It is a multidisciplinary research facility that supports bespoke industry-led partnerships designed to drive innovation and growth in engineering and IT. Partners gain access to cutting-edge equipment, funding opportunities, world-class research talent and the ability to commercialise foreground IP.
Impact Studios
UTS’ own audio production house unlocking academic research through engaging, accessible and award wining podcasts. Impact Studios work with academics, businesses, communities, educational organisations, non-profits, and cultural institutions to embed audio in the research process, making one-of-a-kind podcasts that entertain, inspire, and create change.
Moore Park Precinct
This precinct is home to the Human Performance Research Centre, a collaborative, transdisciplinary research centre with world-leading researchers in the areas of sport, exercise science and human performance. The Centre is supported by world-class infrastructure and the state of the art research laboratories in the new UTS Rugby Australia Building, our home alongside several leading sporting organisations in Sydney’s premier central sporting precinct.
Science Research
UTS Science has invested extensively in its research facilities with advanced specialised scientific instruments and equipment to benefit its students and researchers, including The Australian Facility for Taphonomic Experimental Research, the Microbial Imaging Facility, the Surgical and Anatomical Science Facility and the Environmental Research Facility.
Health Research
The UTS Faculty of Health provides a range of simulation technologies for health students to practice their clinical and technical skills. From introductory low fidelity equipment in the clinical labs to the state-of-the-art simulators in the high fidelity simulation labs, the facilities allow students to practice patient care scenarios in realistic settings without risk or harm to patients or other health care professionals.
ProtoSpace

ProtoSpace is an additive manufacturing facility that provides UTS researchers access to advanced 3D printing and scanning technologies along with specialised technical support, linked education and engagement opportunities.
UTS Data Arena

The UTS Data Arena is a 360º panoramic, 3D stereoscopic, multi-user interactive theatre. The facility changes the way we view and interact with research data. Access is free for UTS researchers, staff and students. The Data Arena runs 2 x 30min Open House presentations every Thursday from 12-12:30 and 12:30 - 1pm. Register to attend an Open House.
DAB

The Faculty of Design Architecture and Building (DAB) offers fabrication workshops, a makerspace, sewing, textile and print workshops, a knit lab and digital studios.
